Let’s Play 1Call Of Duty Black Ops Zombies For iOS Gameplay Commentary

Here’s a video where you can press play, sit back and relax, it’s pretty long. But if you’re one of those people who enjoy watching Gameplay and Commentary on Youtube, here’s a bit of a go at it.
Today we’re playing Call Of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The game will run you $6.99 but it is a universal app which is awesome for all your devices. Now the bad part is, currently the online is not working for some reason. The app may need an update or the servers might need one, we just don’t know. Single player is awesome and just like the console versions minus the big screen and a controller. If you enjoy Zombies on the consoles, check this one out or pick it up when the Online is fixed.

Macworld 2012 iPro Lens System Turns iPhone Into a Pro-Grade Camera

At this year’s Macworld event, Schneider Optics showed off the iPro Lens System. The package includes professional-quality fisheye and wide-angle lenses, a clever protective cover and a case that doubles as a tripod mount or a convenient handle.
The fisheye lens captures a 165-degree field of view, while the wide-angle lens provides 35% more coverage of the area in front of you. The lenses are attached by twisting them on and off of the specially engineered cover. The lens case acts as a tripod adapter or can be used as a handle which also twists onto the iPhone’s cover.
The entire three-piece system costs $199 and is compatible with the iPhone 4 and 4S. It is available today at the company’s website.
Schneider Optics also announced the upcoming launch of their new iPro Tele Lens, another option for turning your iPhone into a professional photography gadget. The Tele Lens is a 2X telephoto that narrows the iPhone’s field of view by 50%, zooming in on images without the loss of quality that occurs with a digital zoom.
The iPro Tele Lens will be available in April. It can be purchased with the iPro Lens System or it can be bought separately for approximately $100.
Check out the video of the AppAdvice team getting a first-hand look at the iPro system”.

Size Matters Clever Website Compares Smartphone Proportions

If you’re smartphone fanatic like I am, you want to know the precise size of each one of these phones. Sure, that latest model may be super slim, but will it be too large for your pocket?

We found a site that answers those questions in the best way possible: by letting you stick your current phone up to the screen, then seeing how its rivals stack up in size.

When you go to phone-size.com, it first asks you about the aspect ratio and size of your screen. Once you’ve enter that data, you can choose between dozens of the latest smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Google, BlackBerry, LG, HTC, Motorola, Sony and more. Then you can compare smartphones to your heart’s content.
How accurate is it? I held my iPhone 4S up to the screen, and noticed the picture of it was slightly larger than the actual iPhone. That was easily remedied by the site’s offset control that allowed me to reduce the size by a slight amount, making the pic of the iPhone 4S on the screen perfectly match its actual size.

Then I could compare it with my other two favorite phones, the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Google Galaxy Nexus.
This is more than just a website — it’s a valuable tool. We’re hoping its creators will keep up with the latest smartphone technology, adding each new handset as it’s introduced.

That’s not going to be easy, however. Unlike Apple, lots of handset makers think it’s necessary to introduce dozens of new devices every month.
For now, there’s a decent selection of phones available, along with key statistics that you’ll find informative and entertaining. It’s certainly worth a try.
